The quality enhancement plan for the heavy products of Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. is among Iran’s high-priority strategic projects, which is aimed to reduce the production of mazut and replace it with higher value added environmentally friendly products, with a focus on the production of sponge coke required by Iran’s aluminum industry. This two-phase project, which comprises 14 process units, was announced on 23rd October 2022 as a collaboration effort by Nardis Co., Jondishapour EPC Contractor, Enershimi Co., and RAJAN Petro Farayand PJS Co. It was signed on Sunday, 6th November 2022 by the CEO and the board of directors of Nardis Co. and the other collaborating parties.
